This project includes a major hotel and convention center in downtown Boise. CKC provided all structural design.

When the original team was unable to meet the owner’s budget and design program, several team members were released, including the structural engineer. CKC was retained to assume this role. A careful buildability analysis by CKC identified a number of value engineering targets. These led to significant structural modifications and saved over three million dollars in construction of the structural frame.

CKC also provided a parking design review which enhanced the garage efficiency and eliminated one full subterranean parking level.

Construction was completed on time and on budget.
