Fana 305 is a 340-foot mixed-use tower in the heart of downtown Bellevue featuring ground floor retail, an outside dog park, 184 residential units, 144 hotel suites, and four below grade parking levels.
The structure is designed with cast-in-place concrete and post-tensioned slabs. The lateral system consists of an efficient concrete core placed off center to maximize views to the west. CKC incorporated sloped and stepped columns to mitigate transfer beams and optimize the parking layout.
The structural design implemented Performance-Based Design, an approach used for buildings in high seismic regions and is highly effective for improving architectural flexibility, reducing material cost, and streamlining buildability.
