Boeing 10-16 Office building & Parking Structure

Project Size: 575,000 square feet

Architect: Curtiews Beattie & Associates, Seattle, Washington

Developer: Boeing, Renton, Washington

Contractor: Skanska, Seattle, Washington

The Boeing 10-16 project consists of a seven-story office building of approximately 275,000 square feet and a 300,000 square foot parking structure for 1,000 cars.

Both structures are constructed of cast-in-place, post tensioned concrete. Due to the large plan area of the garage, special precautions were taken to isolate skybridges, stair shafts and other rigid elements from the main body of the structure. This allows unrestrained thermal expansion/contraction of the decks.
