Based in the Cherry Creek North neighborhood of Denver, Colorado, 255 Fillmore is a seven-level office building with two levels of subterranean parking, mixed-use retail space at grade level, a tiered outdoor space connecting levels 1 and 2, and terraces at levels 6 and 7.

The subterranean structure consists of shotcrete basement walls, and a cast-in-place concrete frame supported by shallow foundations. The use of shotcrete sped up construction by eliminating the need to form up the basement walls. To minimize the number of below-grade levels, car stackers were utilized at both parking levels. The superstructure is comprised of structural steel framing and composite decks with steel braced frames for lateral resistance due to wind. The braced frames are discontinuous at level 2 and relocated at the ground level to accomodate the desired retail space layout.
