Located at the northeast corner of Broadway and 19th street in Oakland, 1900 Broadway Tower is a 40-story residential tower over a Type IA office and retail podium with two below-grade parking levels. The tower includes 452 residential units, a landscaped amenity deck with an outdoor pool and terrace. The parking will house a high-density automated vehicle storage system which will transfer cars to parking areas at lower levels through three elevators.

The tower is adjacent to the BART tunnel connecting to major employment centers in San Francisco. Because of the close proximity, the building is supported by a mat foundation on Cast-In-Drill-Hole (CIDH) concrete piles up to 200 feet deep.

The structure consists of cast-In-place concrete with post-tensioned flat plate slabs. The lateral force resisting system consists of a tubular and a "C" shape. CKC performed a non-linear seismic analysis and performance-based design through a peer review process.
